Turiştii străini au cheltuit în România peste 2.612 lei/persoană, în primul semestru al anului (INS)

Numărul total al turiştilor nerezidenţi cazaţi în structurile de cazare turistică colective a fost de 630.500, în primul semestru din acest an, cheltuielile acestora însumând 1,647 miliarde de lei, în medie aproximativ 2.612,3 lei/persoană, potrivit unui comunicat al Institutului Naţional de Statistică, transmis vineri AGERPRES.

Turismul european a trecut prin cea mai nefastă perioadă din istoria recentă din cauza restricţiilor împotriva noului coronavirus, stările de alertă şi de urgenţă, lockdown-urile şi închiderea hotelurilor şi restaurantelor ameninţând supravieţuirea industriei şi frustrându-i pe turiştii care căutau o schimbare de decor.

Eurostat: Peste jumătate dintre români nu îşi permit o săptămână de vacanţă pe an

Aproape o treime (29%) dintre rezidenţii cu vârsta de 16 ani sau mai mult din Uniunea Europeană nu-şi puteau permite anul trecut să îşi cumpere măcar o săptămână de vacanţă o dată pe an departe de casă, cel mai ridicat procentaj de persoane în această situaţie fiind înregistrat în România, cu 54%, arată datele publicate luni de Oficiul European de Statistică (Eurostat).
