‘Decisive step’: Post-Brexit deal agreed

A transition period that will follow the official date of the U.K.’s withdrawal from the EU has been agreed, the chief Brexit negotiators of the EU and the U.K. said on Monday.

More than 60 Conservative lawmakers have written to British Prime Minister Theresa May demanding a quick, clean break from the European Union.

European Union ministers have finalised their negotiating position on the transitional period that will follow the UK's departure from the bloc.
